CPT-GEL SD2 Rheology Modifier

INCORPORATIONS
CPT-GEL SD2 belongs to the unconventional type of organoclays group, being a selfactivated organoclay, CPT-GEL SD2 does not require a chemical (polar) activator to
reach the proper level of delamination of the organoclay platelet stacks.

CPT-GEL SD2 can be added at any point in the manufacturing process. If addition is
made with polar activator or after grinding,better performance can be expected.
RECOMMENDED LEVELS
The amount of CPT-GEL SD2 rheology modifier required depends upon the type of
organic system and the degree of thickening or other properties desired. Addition levels
are typically between 0.2%-3.0% based on the total formulation weight.

SHELF LIFE
CPT-GEL SD2 has a shelf life of at least two years from date of manufacture. Store in a cool dry place.
